Walking into the Holesfoot barn whilst Lucy and Matt were having their wedding ceremony at St Lawrence’s Church, was a treat for the eyes! They had decorated the venue with old furniture like an old desk for their gift and card station and a sweet table with a little tabletop cabinet full of mini Collin the Caterpillars. They also hired a lampshade hanging light feature which really added to the atmosphere of the room.
They had very unique table centre pieces that told their story. They had Terrariums with figurines and mini models inside showing their life events like their proposal, their first date and many more. This was all put together by Bev from Limelight Wedding Emporium who helped to style the barn to Lucy and Matthews vision.
After their ceremony they made their way to Holesfoot in Vintage Coaches from Cumbria Classic Coaches, this is a great way to have your guests arrive at the same time and keep the atmosphere at a high, they also had Joel Grainger playing the violin throughout the drinks reception who had been playing in the Church service too. To help keep the buzz in the atmosphere Lucy and Matthew chose a variety of canapés for their guests to enjoy.
Canapes
Spicy Lamb Koftas with Tzatziki
Peking Duck Pancakes with Plum Sauce
Wild Mushroom Arancini, Sun Blush Tomato Dip
Spinach and Feta Parcels
Moroccan Cauliflower Bites with Sriracha Dip
Lucy and Matthew were taken around the grounds of Holesfoot with their photographer Joe Dodsworth and Videographer Sophie Lauren Production to create the most incredible couple shots.
After the canapés it was time for the guests to find their seats. They had Simon Vogt Host their day. Having Simon is similar to an on the day coordinator as he focuses on the timings and smooth running of the day.

After enjoying their tea and coffee it was time to make their way back upstairs ready for speeches. They all gathered around the dance floor to listen to their loved ones tell lovely stories. Whilst evening guests began to arrive and the party was getting started there was a Voicemail Guest Book and a Photo Booth in the bar area to create amazing memories with their guests.
After their first dance and father daughter dance, Lucy and Matthew changed into their traditional Indian outfits for another first dance! The atmosphere was electric! At this point we started serving the evening food!
