Fairbank Barn a beautiful venue hidden in the hills between Kendal and Windermere, this location makes it easy to find accommodation for friends and family travelling to celebrate your day.
Caroline and Matthew got married in one of the old barns that has been converted into a chapel, it is a space that has so much character and lets you and your guests stay in one location all day. Following the ceremony they had their drinks and canapé reception on the lawn with views of the hills for miles .
They chose a selection of canapés to suit all guests.
Canapés
Honey Mustard Sausages
Blinis with Crème Fraiche & Smoked Salmon
Pear, Prosciutto & Rocket Rolls
Sweet Potato Bites with Spicy Avocado
Moroccan Cauliflower Bites
After enjoying their canapés it was time to make their way into the wedding breakfast. They had their wedding breakfast in the large barn which had been decorated with the most beautiful bloom of flowers by Bridge Row Flowers, just look at the floor arrangement in the chapel above. It was time for everyone to get some fresh air and go back out to the lawn whilst the local band The Seals got warmed up for the evening party. The Seals are a very popular band around the lakes, they really do know how to get the party started!
Caroline and Matthew decided to have a cheese grazing table for their evening food, this worked perfectly for them and their guests. People could keep on dancing without interruption and help themselves when they need to rest and refuel!
Thank you Caroline and Matthew we loved being apart of your day! Thank you!
