When booking a summer wedding you hope for a dry sunny day. This is exactly what Georgia and David hoped for to have an outdoor ceremony! The weather was on their side! They got to have their beautiful ceremony outside at the Town Head Estate . Town Head is set in such beautiful scenery if you are brave enough to trust the weather an outdoor ceremony really is a magical experience. Georgia and David added to the magical moment by having Piano Daisy play them down the aisle. picture it … Birds tweeting, piano playing, a light breeze … cue the tears!
After their outdoor ceremony the wedding party made their way back to the barn for their drinks ceremony and a great selection of canapés.
Canapés
Mozzarella and Pesto Arancini with Sun Blush Tomato Dip
Blinis with Crème Fraiche and Smoked Salmon
Scotch Quail’s Eggs
Honey Mustard Sausages
Pesto Arancini with Sun Blushed Tomato Dip
After having some delicious canapés the guests were eager to get upstairs for the most relaxed but incredibly delicious meal!
Georgia and David decided on a sharing board to start their wedding breakfast! They chose long trestle tables for their guests to feel more together. With a sharing meal we advise limited decorations on the tables because this will make it easier for all your guests to reach the food. If you have long tables we aim to serve 8 people (4 on either side of the table) per board so you could place decorations every 4th person and it can help your guests know who to share between too!
If you are having round tables and want to have a sharing course we think this is fantastic too, but be aware again of the table decorations so the food can be positioned easily in the middle for the all guests to dig in!
