With 4 days to re-arrange the wedding Laura & Chris did an incredible job.
The day started amazingly… a glass of Prosecco and the most glorious sunshine. Once everyone had a drink it was time for everyone to chat and relax whilst enjoying the stunning tipis provided by Special Event Tipis! While enjoying welcome drinks, Clare (the bride’s sister) organised some furry friends to join us.
For Laura’s hen do she went to Lingholm Estate to walk alpacas so during the welcome drinks Clare organised some Alpacas to come for some photos.
After welcome drinks and photos, it was time for food.
Twice Baked Lancashire Cheese Souffle served with a Champagne Cream Sauce Or Vegetable Soup
Baskets of Homemade Breads — Leek, Sweet Potato and Cheese Pie with Buttered Mash Or Thai Green Vegetable Curry served with Jasmine Rice
Dishes of French Fries & Summer Vegetables — Chocolate Fondant served with English Lakes Double Jersey Ice Cream Or Eton Mess — Selection of Cheeses with Biscuits, Grapes, Celery & Home-made Chutney — Tea, Coffee & Home-made Fudge
After the meal our team cleared the tables and created more space for everyone.
It was time for evening food. Laura & Chris chose the following as a late-night snack:
Newspaper Cones of Cheesy Chips
Cheese Toasties
Homemade Pizzas
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions our team packed up and left at 10pm. It was such a magnificent day though, and we were thrilled to be a part of it!
