Longlands offers an outstanding Manor House filled with historic character that sleeps 23 guests, and with additional cottages that can sleep up to 10 guests, this is a perfect venue to keep your family and friends close by. Sitting at the bottom of Hempsfell the grounds offer 5 Acres for you to go for outstanding photos. This also includes their Walled Kitchen Garden which it bursting with colours from a variety of different flowers and herbs!
Lorna and Alex got very creative with the decorations in the Wedding Barn hanging the most incredible beam drapes, they hung between each beam and then hung down and framed the room. The Barn at Longlands is the perfect venue to get creative and bring your personality to life for your big day.
Wedding Day
On the morning of the Wedding Lorna got ready with Amy from Amy Brown & Co along with Sophie from 16 the Salon. They also had Joe Mathers Photography and Clare from Social 27 Videography capturing everyone having the most wholesome time before making their way to Cartmel Priory for the Wedding Ceremony.
Once they arrived back at Longlands their guests were welcomed into the house by their Host Craig Howarth where they received a glass of Prosecco. At the bottom of the stairs in the centre of the house they had a live singer Jess from songs by Jess singing throughout the drinks reception. They had chosen a selection of fantastic canapés for us to serve throughout this time.

After enjoying their time with their family and friends and having incredible photos taken with Joe it was time for the guests to be invited up to the Wedding Barn.
