Mike & Kaaleeka had a marquee at the family holiday home and it was just magical.
They had a 2 day celebration, the wedding day followed by a post wedding barbeque for all their family and friends.
The wedding weekend started with this delicious selection of canapés…

Blinis with Crème Fraîche & Smoked Salmon
Peking Duck Pancakes with Plum Sauce
Thai Fish Cakes with Chilli Dipping Sauce
Honey & Mustard Sausages with Mustard Dip
Croque Monsieur
Vegan Moroccan Cauliflower Bites
Vegan Crostini with Avocado, Sun Blush Tomato & Basil
Following drink and canapés guests too their seats for a Middle Eastern Sharing menu!

This works so well being sharing as guests can have as much or as little of each element as they like! Please bear in mind that sharing meals take a lot of space so don’t fill your table with loads of flowers or candles as these will be covered of moved during service which would be a massive shame!
In the evening it was time for Newspaper Cones of Chips and Cheese Toasties! This was FAB!! Guests could still enjoy their evening while we walked round offering chips or toasties so they could carry on partying!
Walk around evening food is (in our opinion!) the best way to do it. Guests don’t have to queue and food is brought right to them. We have had the odd occasion where our girls end up in the middle of the dance floor but they weren’t complaining!!
Saturday 18th June – Post Wedding BBQ
Mike & Kaaleekaa chose to have a post wedding party to invite all their friends and family back for a post wedding catch up to tell all the funny stories from the evening before.
We think a pre or post wedding do is a great idea as the wedding day itself goes so fast so sometimes people don’t have chance to properly speak to everyone.
Sunday Menu

Higginson’s Beef Burgers

King Prawns with Chilli & Garlic

This was served buffet style and guests came up as and when they were ready. It creates a really relaxed atmosphere and really did finish off the weekend perfectly!
