The Main House provides on site accommodation and could even be the venue for an intimate wedding!

There are 5 bedrooms sleeping 10 people; lovely kitchen complete with AGA, large dining room, 2 huge reception rooms set in beautiful surroundings it’s the prefect place to relax pre and post wedding!!

The barn can seat roughly 150 guests and its such an incredible venue as it’s a completely blank canvas which means you can decorate it exactly how you like.

Adjoining the barn is our charming bar area, with access down a staircase to the Lower Courtyard and adjacent traditional barn, The Shippon. Both the main barn and The Shippon are licenced areas to host your ceremony, giving you the flexibility to surprise your guests with the majesty of the barn for your wedding breakfast, after your ceremony under the quaint eaves of The Shippon.

The wedding barn is approached by a private drive which meanders through open countryside to its secluded setting on Fairbank Farm; nestled in the centre of 370 acres of rolling countryside with uninterrupted views in all directions – the perfect backdrop to your Lake District wedding.
