We are here to help

We’ve had various incidents over the years which are never regarding the food. The brides car broke down on the way to the venue so we sent someone out to collect her, we’ve sewn buttons on, glued heels on, managed to get a generator at the last minute when a major storm left us without lights and heating. We even rescued the Bride’s dog from under the jetty! (See Dad below!!) 

If you book us for your wedding you’ll know that in adversity we will never say the immortal words “its not our problem”.

We just wanted to say thank you so much to you and your team for everything on Tuesday! The food was amazing (everyone was so complementary, for example my grandma said ‘if I could cook like this we would all be vegetarian!’). People also commented on how great the service was, all the waiters were very attentive! We also want to say a special thank you for keeping the leftovers and storing them for us. When we saw the fridge in farm cottage on Wednesday it literally made my day. It was very important to us to reduce waste and having the sharing meals helped with this mission, but it couldn’t have happened without you! We also packed the cakes away and everyone enjoyed them with coffee yesterday, and we are still having them now. We all enjoyed a meal of Thai green curry last night, and had quesadillas and bean burgers for lunch at the top of Old Man Coniston today 😋

I’m just emailing quickly so say a massive thank you for Tuesday. The food was so well received and lots of compliments re yumminess!! I wholeheartedly agree and just wish I’d had mine boxed and shipped to our room, as at dinner I managed about 3 mouthfuls before feeling full, but then by the end of the evening and in our room was ravenous to the point I could’ve chewed my own leg off! 😂 That gravy is something else, btw. I could’ve easily just had gallons of that and the mash and I’d have been more than happy! 😋 Your team looked after us so well and lovely Phoebe is just calm serenity itself. Truly grateful and I’m so appreciative of how well looked after we’ve been from start to finish with the whole process. I will of course pop a review on your site. Mandatory 10 🌟 of course.
